I was on my way to times square to meet my mom and little brother Sunday around noon, noon-thirty. The L was running in all sorts of bits and pieces. When we got on the Manhattan-bound L train at Bedford, you were sitting in front of me and my friend and wearing a national novel writing month shirt. Your blonde hair and long face really got me. I couldn't tell, but I was pretty sure that your hair was dyed blonder than it naturally is, and I realize now that your face reminds me of Ferris Bueller's nervous friend, only you have these green glasses. I hope you don't get that a lot, I bet it could get annoying.

At Union Square, my friend left, and you and me both got on the last car of the uptown N/R. I had some time to contemplate how ridiculous your shoes were and what they might indicate about your personality. When I got off at 42nd, I looked back and saw you maybe looking back too. I mean, I am pretty much just crazy, but that would've been neat if that had been what happened.
